An MTAS-produced sample annual reporting form (Excel) for Tennessee municipalities to assist in complying with T.C.A. 67-4-1401, et seq., which requires each municipality to report the amount of occupancy tax received and to detail how those funds were spent during the fiscal year, specifically how those expenditures were used for tourism and tourism development. 

The report is due not less than 30 days after the fiscal year end and must be provided to the Comptroller of the Treasury, the Commissioner of the Department of Tourist Development, the Chair of the State and Local Government Committee of the Senate, and the Chair of the Local Government Committee of the House of Representatives.

In 2023, MTAS facilitated and prepared a Strategic Plan Update for the City of Shelbyville.

The Mt. Pleasant Water department created a plan to establish policies, rules and plans to be used during a drought or water shortage.

This request for qualifications (RFQ) outlines the need for a qualified individual or firm to assist with seeking grant funds for the Town of Nolensville. Minimum qualifications and evaluation criteria are provided, along with a tentative schedule and a list of the Town's responsibilities to the selected firm. This RFQ may be of interest to municipalities that do not have sufficient in-house capability or resources to pursue various types of grants for which their community is eligible.
