The Athens Utility Board wanted to begin a program to regulate the amount of FOG being discharged into the sewer system. MTAS was asked to review the possibility of a program, write a new policy, and give a recommendation on what type of program AUB should enforce.

The first part of this study discusses transportation issues in Bradley County specifically, summarizing the current amount of freight moving in and out of the county and the means by which it is carried. The presentation also summarizes the current long-range transportation plan for the Cleveland Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) area. The second part of the presentation had to do with the need for Cleveland to produce a freight and goods study. The Nashville Regional Freight and Goods Movement is summarized as well.
