In response from a request for assistance from Atoka Fire Chief Justin McMillian, MTAS conducted a review of the town’s 2019 ISO evaluation in preparation for an anticipated Public Protection Classification review estimated to occur in the 2023 or 2024 calendar years. MTAS reviewed Atoka’s Public Protection Classification Summary Report, prepared by the Insurance Services Office (ISO) dated October 2019, against the current (2012/2013) edition of the ISO Fire Suppression Rating Schedule, and toured the fire protection area. This report includes observations and recommendations based upon the comparison and observations made during the site visits.
