MTAS was invited to perform a comprehensive management review of Athens Police Department. The request was made by the City Manager as the second phase of a two-phase study. The first phase of the study was to examine current staffing levels for the police department for use by the City Manager in determining current and future staffing needs. The Comprehensive Management Review was requested to determine current environmental factors within the police department to include all functional areas and management of the police department.
