Create Municipal Court Clerk Conference Registration

Municipal Court Clerk ConferenceThe 2026 Municipal Court Clerk Conference will be held at the Murfreesboro Embassy Suites on April 16 – 17, 2026. Conference registration will begin at 11:00 am on April 16th with the first session beginning at 1:00 pm. The conference will end at noon on the 17th. 

There is no registration fee to attend the conference and a city is welcome to send multiple attendees (court clerks, city judges, city attorneys, etc.).

While anyone is welcome to attend at no cost, there are restrictions on hotel room reservations as detailed below. Regardless of your hotel accommodations, all attendees should register on this form.  This allows us to properly track conference attendance for seating, refreshments, etc.
 
Hotel:
Attendees will stay at the Murfreesboro Embassy Suites.  MTAS has reserved 160 rooms in our block. The address of the hotel is 1200 Conference Center Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.

Each city is allocated one of these rooms in the block of 160 rooms at no cost to the city.  This one room will be for the night of Thursday April 16, 2026.  

This one hotel room will be at no charge to the city and is paid by the conference.  Cities can decide if this one hotel room will occupied by one attendee only, or if you want to share this hotel room with a coworker.  In any event, each city is only allocated one free hotel room in the conference block of rooms.

If a city needs more than one hotel room, the additional attendees need to book their own rooms at the Embassy Suites or any other hotel of their choice outside of the reserved block of rooms at the city’s expense.  Also, if you need a hotel room for the night of Wednesday April 9th, it will be the responsibility of the attendee to book the room.  MTAS cannot book these additional rooms.

If an additional night or room is needed, please consult with your supervisor and follow your city’s travel policy for purchasing a hotel room. 

If you need to cancel your registration and/or hotel reservation, please contact Doug Brown or John Eskew by Friday, March 27, 2026. Be mindful that your city may be charged for the hotel room, taxes, and fees if you register and fail to attend the conference.
