Abstract: The “Annual Utility Rate Survey” is a comparison of residential utility rates in the East Tennessee Development District. The Survey is conducted each summer and distributed to the utilities and local officials serving the region. The survey only compares residential rates and does not attempt to survey commercial and industrial rates. Since utility rates can change at any time during the year, anyone interested in a specific utility’s current rates should contact that utility directly.
