MTAS was asked three questions from the city of Clinton regarding the power of the City Judge. Can the Clinton City Judge:

1.  issue inspection (search) warrants for code enforcement action?
2. issue court order(s) with specific time limits to remediate code violations? We know judge can issue fines; we’re looking for code enforcement orders based on adopted city ordinances.
3. issue arrest warrants for repeat violators?

MTAS was asked to research cities' requirements to deduct union dues from firefighters.

This project evaluates tipping fees for the solid waste transfer station and demolition landfill, as well as use of the Reserve Fund.
