Fire Chief Greg Lipford contacted MTAS and asked for information and assistance on increasing the number of firefighters available to respond to fires in Henderson. Currently, the fire department is staffed by four full-time firefighters working a variable 4-platoon system, and each day one paid firefighter works a 24-hour shift. The fire chief works 8-hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and a 24-hour shift on Tuesday.
