Fire department organization and process review for Dyersburg, Tennessee

Mr. Brett Sipes, Fire Chief, contacted MTAS and requested an organization and process review of the Dyersburg Fire Department (DFD). Nothing in this report should be viewed as a negative reflection of the Dyersburg Fire Department. Interviews conducted with Dyersburg staff indicate that the firefighters and staff are dedicated, hardworking and responsive to all emergencies. This report provides an outside perspective of the fire department's services and future needs, based upon fire service best practices, national standards and Verisk's ISO Fire Suppression Rating Schedule.
