This addition to municipal code Title 10 (Animal Control) provides a definition of a feral cat, commonly known as a stray cat. The ordinance outlines the health hazards related to feral cats and grants authority to animal control officers to investigate potential cat hoarding and to rescue, retrieve, round-up, corral, or humanely trap feral cats roaming at large.
