Abstract: It's no surprise that the public sector has been experiencing a shift in their workforce as staff in the Baby Boomer generation (ages 53-72) move into retirement.  So, are we ready?  Are we purposefully engaging our organization in the process, or are we just reacting to every retirement notice we receive?
