Abstract: An editorial published on the Forbes website in July 2018 and authored by an economics professor, "Amazon should replace local libraries to save taxpayers money" brought a great response from the information community.  So many responses on social media, that the article was pulled from the Forbes website.  That response showed that library professionals are being proactive about their roles.
