The much-anticipated TNCPE site visit has been completed…and in my opinion, successfully so! It was an intense two days of discussion among several MTAS staff members and the five-person visiting team of examiners.

After their review of the application document, the team presented MTAS with a list of seventy-three (73) questions and additional issues that they wanted additional information on. The mere scope of the question list very well indicates the depth to which MTAS was “scrubbed down” by the examiners.

I particularly appreciate the participation of the following folks over the past two days:

Regardless of TNCPE’s decision concerning the award, MTAS will be better just by having participated in the process. Many times in the past two days I’ve heard MTASers say that they have learned something out of this process.

The team leader advised in the closing meeting that we should receive TNCPE’s report in late October or early November. When it’s received, you will see it.

Lastly, this whole effort has primarily fallen on the shoulders of three people. Margaret, Josh and Gary, thank you! You have committed many hours to this. Your commitment and work are recognized and appreciated.
