IPS Staff,

For the last six years we have conducted an annual supervisors’ survey. The purposes of the survey were to receive individual feedback on each supervisor and to receive information to help determine supervisor training needs. On the recommendation of the IPS Employee Relations Committee , the IPS Leadership Team agreed that we will NOT conduct the survey this year. Each agency is in the midst of developing plans based on the feedback from the Employee Engagement Survey and the ERC is also developing recommendations for Institute-wide activities.

We will plan to conduct the survey in 2013 and every other year thereafter. Thank you for your excellent participation in the various surveys we have conducted during the last year. I hope you are beginning to see improvements in the work environment.
