IPS Staff,
The IPS Leadership Team is in the process of developing a new strategic plan that will incorporate the key strategic priorities of all the IPS agencies. Like the UT System is composed of the various campuses and institutes, the Institute for Public Service is composed of the various agencies. The UT System doesn’t have a plan separate from the campuses and institutes, but rather one that encompasses their priorities. The IPS plan is modeled in the same manner. The UT System administration has a work plan and the IPS administration, known as the Central Office, will also have a work plan.
The leadership team met recently in Cookeville for a two-day retreat to develop Vision, Mission, Values and Goals Statements based on each of the agencies updated strategic plans. A facilitator guided us through the process, and I think a solid plan for all of IPS was developed. The executive directors, Assistant Vice President Chuck Shoopman and I value your feedback on the Vision, Mission, Values and Goals. We want your input in moving forward with the strategic planning process.
I’d like you to take a few minutes to complete the survey at this link
http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/918614/890702966bf5 , and give us your feedback. For each question, please think about how the Vision, Mission, Values and Goals affect you, and how you see yourself in each. The deadline for completing the survey is Friday, May 18. I’ll send another reminder next week.
Each of you contributes to the success of this institute, and your input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mary
