Although it may seem like decades to some, I have been with MTAS and working with you for two years now.
I enjoy working with you and with the cities and towns of Tennessee even more today than I did when I joined this organization, and
certainly hope that we have many years together yet in front of us.

Even so, we all know how rarely truly great opportunities come along, and a few weeks ago I decided that I should at least apply
for the position of Assistant Vice President with IPS. The Search Committee has given me the opportunity to interview as a
finalist, and I am scheduled to interview on May 18 ^th .

You will receive additional information on the interviews and candidates, but obviously not from me.
I appreciate your work, and whether as Executive Director of MTAS or through another role in IPS,
I look forward to working with you.
