Senior Engineer
This is the second of five levels in the Engineering series. Incumbents perform a variety of professional engineering projects and tasks. Responsibilities may include reviewing and approving technical reports and contractor development plans deliverables; monitoring and evaluating the progress of construction and consultant design projects; providing engineering support to the development of new public programs and systems; developing and implementing computer models of public infrastructure utility systems; and supervising lower level engineering, engineering support, inspection, control, and construction staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited engineering program.
- Three (3) years of professional engineering experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job's essential duties.
License and Certifications
- Tennessee Professional Engineering License
