Police Officer - P.O.S.T. Certified

The City of Millersville Police Department is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Officer (P.O.S.T. Certified).
Our officers are committed to protecting life and property while serving our community with integrity, professionalism, and respect.

The Police Officer is responsible for the protection of life and property within the City of Millersville. The employee performs law enforcement duties including patrol, investigation, traffic enforcement, emergency response, and public assistance. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Police Chief and designated shift supervisors. The position requires the exercise of independent judgment in accordance with state law, City ordinances, and departmental policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a Tennessee POST certified peace officer in good standing
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must possess a valid Tennessee driver’s license 

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior law enforcement experience
• Additional law enforcement training or certifications
