The City of McMinnville Police Department is looking for initiative driven individuals with a passion for helping others. Our Certified Police Officer position serves the City to protect life and property of the citizens of McMinnville by enforcing all city statutes / ordinances and state laws / regulations for which the Police Department is accountable.
Minimum Qualifications for POST certified
- Must be a Tennessee POST certified peace officer in good standing
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid TN driver’s license
Minimum Qualifications for non-POST certified
- HS Degree or equivalent
- Consistent work history: law enforcement experience preferred
- Must possess a valid TN driver’s license
