The Director is responsible for maintaining strong internal financial controls, preparing key financial reports such as the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), supporting grants, and ensuring the City's long-term fiscal stability.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible governmental accounting or auditing experience. CMFO designation required or to be obtained within 18 months.
