Job Summary

Appointed by the City Council, administratively reports to the Office of the Mayor, and serves the City Council. The City Recorder for Ashland City is responsible for maintaining the Town’s official records and City Seal; supporting the City Council’s legislative and meeting  processes; preparing Council agendas in consultation with designated officials; maintaining the official municipal code; coordinating public-records access; and performing assigned administrative and records-management functions. The City Recorder works collaboratively with the Office of the Mayor, City Council, Department Heads, Finance Director, Town Attorney, and the public.
