The City of Fairview is hiring
City Planner
Under the supervision of the City Manager or their designee, the City Planner performs professional planning work involving the review of development applications, preparation of staff reports, and presentation of recommendations to the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, and Board of Commissioners. The position also supports long-range planning efforts, code interpretation, and public engagement. This is a full-time position requiring strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, with occasional evening meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, public administration, geography, or closely related field.
- Five (5) years related work experience is preferred.
- AICP certification is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
