RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION of the Town of Pittman Center, Tennessee establishing a Design Review Commission.
WHEREAS Tennessee Code Annotated, 6-54-132, authorizes municipalities to establish a Design Review Commission; and,
WHEREAS Pittman Center utilizes the services of the Local Planning Office of the State of Tennessee and such Office has recommended a Design Review Commission; and,
WHEREAS the Town has an interest in maintaining the aesthetic beauty of the community and in preserving and promoting high-quality design standards;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN OF PITTMAN CENTER, TENNESSEE THAT:
Section 1. There is hereby established a Design Review Commission for the Town of Pittman Center, Tennessee.
Section 2. The members of the Planning Commission of Town of Pittman Center shall serve as the Design Review Commission.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and immediately after its passage, the public welfare requiring it.
