Summary:The ADA's covereage of mental disabilities is braodly worded and the concept of mental illness itself is a bit slippery. In an attempt to insulate themselves from discipline, in increasing umber of employees have taken advangate of uncertainty in the law by claiming that their workplace misconduct or poor performance is the result of some mental disability.
