Summary:
Citizens often ask how they can participate in, learn more about, and stay current with important issues and projects within their community. They're concerned about and care about their community and they have limited time to get involved. So it's important that locally elected leaders provide a means to inform and connect with their citizens and when the time is right, engage their citizens in meaningful conversation. Involvement and engagement facilitates good government and preserves our most basic democratic principles.
