AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH REFUSE COLLECTION FEES IN TITLE 17 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE.


WHEREAS the City of Pigeon Forge has determined that refuse collection fees are necessary for sound financial operations; therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PIGEON FORGE, TENNESSEE:

To add section 17-114. Refuse Collection Fees.

Refuse Collection Fees. Each customer who owns or rents property within the corporate limits shall pay a refuse collection fee. Refuse collection fees shall be at such rates as are from time to time set by the Board of Commissioners by ordinance or resolution.

THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, THE PUBLIC WELFARE REQUIRING IT.
