First Of Account for time
|
Metro Nashville Parks Department | The employee wellness program permits employees to exercise for 30 minutes, three times per week during work time. To participate in this program the following steps must be taken: 1. A statement from employee's health care provider, must be provided, stating that employee can participate in an exercise program. (Renewable every two years). 2. Employee signs and dates a contract stating intent to participate and complete the necessary components. They agree to use the thirty minutes to exercise and to schedule that activity around work responsibilities. A letter is sent to participant’s supervisor indicating that individual is an active participant of the wellness program. 3. Employee completes the Participants Activity Readiness Questionnaire. 4. Employee must sign a liability form. Exercise time needs to be coordinated and approved by the employee’s supervisor to ensure that it does not interfere with work responsibilities. Case Management: Sportsplex Staff will provide individual feedback, encouragement, or health related materials to any participant who requests it. Monthly Exercise Record: A vital component of the program involves evaluation. As part of this process it is necessary for participants to complete a monthly record of exercise. These records need to be submitted to the wellness coordinator by the 10th day of the following month. If report is not received by the due date the participant will be provided with two separate reminders a week apart. If the report is not received within a week following the second reminder, you will not be eligible to continue to participate in the program. |
City of Portland | Fire Department only during down time at regular pay. |
City of Jackson | Breaktime, lunchtime. |
City of Maryville | Employees are allowed to exercise only during their breaks. |
City of Memphis | Break time |
City of Brentwood | I marked yes and no. Firefighters are required to have a minimum amount of physical fitness training time during each shift which is paid time for them. They usually do this either at the station on the equipment provided or at the YMCA. All other employees utilizing the equipment do so during their lunch hour or other non-working hours. |
SW Community Service Agency | Lunch break |
Metro Nashville Water Services | Employees can walk during their lunch breaks. |
