The City of Chattanooga Department of Planning is hiring a Project Liaison to join the Sustainability team to assist with implementation of Chattanooga's Climate Action Plan and other long-range plans. Working between City departments and external agencies, the Project Liaison will identify barriers to project delivery and direct resources to ensure project completion. This position requires sustained, in-depth coordination and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to help unstick obstacles for complicated projects. They are also an essential part of the long-range planning process ensuring that project implementation considerations are incorporated into plans and that the vision, intention, and goals of those plans are realized in project implementation. The Project Liaison will play a key role in effectively and efficiently implementing major projects that benefit all Chattanoogans.
