The MTAS Research and Information Center (RIC) is seeking a Librarian 1 to join our team at the UT Municipal Technical Advisory Service.
Who is UT MTAS? Good question!
The Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) is an agency of the Institute for Public Service (IPS) of the University of Tennessee. Through MTAS, the towns and cities of Tennessee are supported by and have available experts dedicated solely to research, consulting, and training on Tennessee municipal issues. https://www.mtas.tennessee.edu/
What is the role of the MTAS RIC? Another good question!
The Research and Information Center (RIC) serves as a clearinghouse for information produced by and about cities. We are an information center which provides research, reference, and survey services. Surveys for MTAS consultants and city officials are conducted to create and collect unique information on municipal government not available from other sources. https://www.mtas.tennessee.edu/mtas-research-and-information-center
What will the Librarian 1 do in the RIC?

We are looking for a self-starter that likes lots of variety in their work and is always looking to learn something new. We are a unique and special library setting.
