TREEDC - Tennessee Tech University Forum on July 29, 2011. TTU STEM Center, Cookeville, TN.
The Tennessee Renewable Energy and Economic Development Council (TREEDC) partnered with Tennessee Tech University (TTU), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), The University of Tennessee Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) and the City of Cookeville to provide a free community outreach forum to 101 Upper Cumberland area citizens and clean energy stakeholders at the TTU STEM Center on July 29, 2011. Attendees gathered together to examine ways to fast track clean energy development such as green diesel, solar, cellulosic ethanol, biodiesel, TVA Green Power programs and electric car charging infrastructure in Tennessee. The objectives of this forum were to identify potential workforce development opportunities in clean energy and to offer project guidance in developing appropriate feedstocks to convert into alternative fuels.

2nd Annual Renewable Energy Forum by the City of Franklin, Columbia State Community College and TREEDC on June 24, 2011. Franklin Police Conference Center, Franklin, TN.
The Tennessee Renewable Energy and Economic Development Council (TREEDC) held its 2nd annual Middle Tennessee forum at the new Franklin Police Conference Center on June 24, 2011. More than 90 attendees from 14 cities, 8 counties ,4 states and 21 clean energy businesses gathered together to examine ways to fast track clean energy development such as green diesel, solar, propane and electric car charging infrastructure in Tennessee.

Clean Energy Jobs Forum on April 5, 2011. University of Tennessee West Research Center, Jackson, TN.
The Tennessee Renewable Energy & Economic Development Council (TREEDC) held its 2nd annual renewable energy forum for area farmers, elected officials and clean energy providers at the University of Tennessee West Research Center in Jackson, Tennessee on April 5, 2011. Despite extreme stormy weather the prior day, 48 participants representing 11 cities, 8 counties, 5 states and Denmark joined together to learn about job creation opportunities in the clean energy sectors of biofuels, solar energy, green diesel, compressed natural gas and biosolids gasification.

Sustainable Communities in Tennessee Forum on March 1, 2011. Crossville Art Circle Public Library.
The Tennessee Renewable Energy and Economic Development Council (TREEDC) held its first 2011 membership forum at the Crossville Art Circle Public Library on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. More than 90 attendees representing 21 cities, 8 counties, USDA Rural Development, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA),Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Economic and Community Development, Upper Cumberland Development District, Wyndam Fairfield Glade resorts and area citizens and businesses joined together to discover innovative municipal statewide best practices in renewable energy.

East Tennessee Renewable Energy Forum. October 22, 2010. Roane State Community College.

The Tennessee Renewable Energy and Economic Development Council (TREEDC) held its first membership symposium in East Tennessee on October 22, 2010 at Roane State Community College. More than 80 attendees from 29 cities, 16 counties and 7 states met to discuss current programs and future statewide developments in renewable energy.

Renewable Energy Outreach by the City of Franklin and TREEDC. June 8, 2010. The Factory. Franklin.
TREEDC held its first membership meeting in Middle Tennessee on June 8, 2010 at the Factory in Franklin, Tennessee. More than 130 attendees from 48 cities, 25 counties and six states took advantage of educational and networking opportunities that focused on growing the renewable energy industry in Tennessee.
