AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 1-101
OF THE NEW TAZEWELL CODE
BOOK PERTAINING TO THE MEETING TIME
FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND ALDERMEN

WHEREAS, Section 1-101 of the New Tazewell code book establishes the time for council meetings at 7:30 P.M. on the second Tuesday of each month at the town hall; and

WHEREAS, this time is not convenient for the existing Board of Mayor and Aldermen.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF NEW TAZEWELL, TENNESSEE that:

SECTION 1. Section 1-101 of the New Tazewell code book is hereby amended by replacing “7:30 P.M.” with “6:30 P.M.”

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective after final reading and publication of the caption of this ordinance in a newspaper of general circulation in the city.
