AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING THE BEER BOARD AUTHORIZED BY SECTION 8-201 OF THE SMITHVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPOINTING THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND ALDERMEN AS THE BEER BOARD

Be it ordained by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Smithville:

Section 1. Section 8-201 of the Smithville Municipal Code is hereby deleted in its entirety and a new Section 8-201 is hereby established to read in its entirety:

Section 8-201. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen is hereby established as the beer board.

Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon final passage, the public welfare requiring it.
