Post-certified Patrol Officer - Position involves performing routine patrol activities, responding to and investigating civil-criminal complaints and traffic accidents, enforcing all traffic laws, criminal laws and city ordinances, and performing associated administrative responsibilities. Hourly rate $16.893 per hour.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a US citizen, high school graduate, no convictions, guilty plea, or nolo contendere to any felony charge or to any violation of any federal, state laws or city ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor or controlled substance; any military discharge must be honorable; must have good moral character as determined by a thorough background investigation; and must be able to pass a post-offer physical and psychological exam. Candidate must have a valid driver's license, acquire and maintain training and certifications and must be willing to work rotating shift schedules, nights, weekends, and holidays.
