The University of Tennessee Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) has an opening for an Administrative Support Assistant II in their Knoxville office. MTAS is an agency of the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service that provides technical assistance, training and research for Tennessee towns and cities, state government, and municipal government related associations. The Administrative Support Assistant II position provides primary coverage for the front receptionist area and includes answering phones and greeting guests who enter the building. The position also provides administrative support work as may be assigned from time to time. 
This position requires a high school diploma. Job requirements include a minimum of one year of work related experience, excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Requires ability to be approachable and provide excellent customer service. The position also requires intermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Must be capable of operating a personal computer, fax, copier, and printer. Requires ability to adapt to university database systems. 

Each employee that drives a vehicle for work related business, must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
