A Resolution Opting Out Of Any Extension Of Hours For Sale Of Intoxicating Liquors.

Whereas, the Alcoholic Beverage Commission is authorized to extend the hours of sale in the jurisdictions which have approved the sale of liquor by the drink by referendum under provisions of TCA 57-4-203 (d) (5), and

Whereas, TCA 57-4-203 (d) (5), of the Tennessee Code Annotated allows cities to opt out of any extensions of hours adopted under this Section by passage of a resolution, now

Therefore, be it resolved by the Mayor and Council of the City of Clinton, Tennessee that the City of Clinton elects to opt out of any extensions of hours in the City of Clinton, Tennessee, and that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the State Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

This Resolution approved on this ________day of February, 2002.
