Summary:The purpose of this study is to evaluate the city’s distribution of fire stations, determine if the locations are adequate, determine if a fire station or stations should be relocated, and determine the optimal location for an additional fire station. The scope of this study included review of distribution requirements in the ISO Fire Suppression Rating Schedule, NFPA requirements, and fire service best practices regarding deployment of resources.
