Re: Canine Expenses/Drug Fund

Dear Mr. Collins

Drug funds may be used to pay for the expenses associated with caring for the drug dog or drug dogs. They may be used for the care of the animal and the cost of personnel who handle the animals. MTAS believes that you may pay the expenses for Bales and Long, not to include court costs, fines or attorney fees. We think you can pay these expenses even though they occurred some time in the past.

Please call me if you have questions or comments.

Sincerely

Ron Darden
